PROBLEM CLUB
A meeting of the Problem Club was held in the Penwomen's League rooms yesterday afternoon over which Mrs. von Sturmer presided. Various subjects were discussed, and Mrs. Ruby Watson gave an address on impurities in food. The need for an overhaul of the Pure Foods Act was stressed by the speaker. Two soios by Mrs. Stormont were enjoj'ed, and later tea was served. Among those present were:—Mrs. Coughlan, Mrs. W. Beechey, Mrs. Spencer, Mrs. Carter, Mrb. H. Kasper, Mrs. Esther Watson, Mrs. Lee Brown, Mrs. Monk, Mrs. G. Johnston, Mrs. Glover Clark, Mrs. Dobbie, Mrs. Quinn, Mrs. Stormont, Mrs. Douglas A. Young, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Munns, Mrs. J. H. Potter, Mrs. C. Moses, Mrs. Haresnape, Mrs. William Reid. Mrs. Jones, Miss Paykel, Miss Pilkington, Miss Clark Spencer, Miss Haycock.
