MOUNT ROSKILL SEAT
REQUEST TO MR. V. POTTER A request that he allow himself to be nominated as a candidate for the Roskill seat in tho interests of the National Party was made to Mr. Vivian Potter on Monday evening, when a petition was presented on hehalf of electors in the constituency. Mr. Potter said he would give the matter serious consideration, and would give his answer at an early dato. In the event of Mr. Potter deciding to offer his services, his name will bo submitted to a selection ballot, with tho names of any other candidates who may come forward.
