The Northern Company advises that the motor vessel Taupata is scheduled to load at Onehunga on Thursday for Nelson and Golden Bay ports. The Wingatui arrived from Southern ports yesterday morning. The Canadian Planter is now due from Montreal at three o'clock this afternoon. After unloading cargo for Auckland at Prince's Wharf she will proceed to Wellington and Aurtralia to complete discharge. The 08-year-old auxiliary schooner Isabel Bailed for Kaipari last evening to run in the Helensville-Dnrgaville cargo trade. The vessel was built at Prince Edward Island. Canada, in 1867 and she reached Auckland from Suva on June 23 last.

THE OMANA The Union Company's steamer Omana is to sail for Wellington, Wesfport and Greymouth this afternoon to complete unloading cargo from Australia. MAKURA FROM SAN FRANCISCO The Royal Mail liner Makura is due at Wellington from San Francisco, Papeete and Rarotonga on Monday morning. She will resume her voyage to Sydney the following day. THE NARBADA The Union Company's chartered steamer Narbada is to sail for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff this afternoon to complete unloading cargo from Eastern port 3, NIAGARA AT VANCOUVER The Royal Mail liner Niagara arrived at Vancouver from Auckland at 9.30 on Saturday night. She is to sail to-morrow for Honolulu, Suva, Auckland and Sydney, being due at Auckland on September 30. TANKER JOHN KNUDSEN With a cargo of bulk petrol for the Atlantic Oil Company the tanker John Knudsen is to leave Palembang on September 16 for Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin.

TAIROA FROM LIVERPOOL The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Tairoa is scheduled to sail from Liverpool on November 16 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. She is due at Auckland about December 26. WANGANELLA LEAVES SYDNEY The Wanganella cleared Sydney for Auckland at 9.50 o'clock last night. She is due on Friday morning and on Saturday afternoon she will be despatched for Sydney. THE MONTEREY The Matson Line steamer Monterey arrived at Sydney from Auckland at 12.20 p.m. yesterday. After calling at Melbourne she will leave Sydney on September 18 and Auckland on September 21 for Los Angeles and San Francisco, via Island ports. SURREY TO LOAD The Federal Line steamer Surrey is to leave New Plymouth on Thursday for Opua and Auckland to complete loading for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow. The vessel is due at Opua on Saturday and Auckland on Monday. She is scheduled to clear Auckland for London on September 23.

MARAMA AT SYDNEY The Marama arrived at Sydney from Auckland at 7.15 o'clock yesterday morning. The vessel will leave Sydney on Friday for Wellington and Auckland, and Bhe will leave Auckland for Sydney direct on September 20. MIDDLESEX ARRIVED The Federal Line steamer Middlesex arrived from Liverpool at an early hour this morning and is unloading cargo from W( Coast ports of Great Britain at Queen Wharf. She will complete discharge at We'll ington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. PORT HUNTER REPORTED The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Hunter is reported to have left Glasgow for Liverpool on Saturday to r.ompleU loading for New Zealand. She is scheduled to clear Liverpool next Saturday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth THE MELBOURNE MARU The Melbourne Maru arrived at New Plymouth from Japan, via Australia, on Sunday to unload a quantity of sulphur. The vessel is to sail to-morrow for Wellington and Auckland to discharge and load. She is scheduled to reach Auckland next Monday and to sail for Japan, via Sydney and Brisbane, the same day. THE KAIRANGA The Kairanga arrived from Newcastle and Sydney yesterday morning and is unloading at King's Wharf. She is to sail for Wellington to-morrow to complete discharge. From Wellington she will proceed to Newcastle, Port Stephens, Sydney and Port Kembla ,to load for Auckland and Wellington. She is to load at Newcastle about September 30. THE MONOWAI After undergoing an extensive overhaul at Wellington the Monowai arrived at Sydney yesterday to relieve in the Vancouver service while the Royal Mail liner Aorangi is being overhauled. The Monowai will leave Sydney on Thursday and Auckland next Tuesday for Suva. Honolulu and Vancouver. She i_s due at Vancouver on October 4. Captain W. Martin is in command and Mr. D. N. McLeish is chief officer.

STEAMERS FPOM AUSTRALIA The Waikouaiti is to load at Newcastle about Friday and she will complete loading at Sydney for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru and Lyttelton.
