Monday The Putwuru Rugby »üb-Union's 1936 season was closed at Olensnea Park with * match between Arapuni-Waotu combined »nd Rovers for t.he D.C.L. Cup. The match, which was played before a good attendance, woa bright and exciting in pate hen, and was woa by Arapuni-Waotu. By a jinky run through the defence O. Berg scored an unconverted try for Rovers, and this team end the better of the game territorially *"Uil the middle of the second half, when Jones scored (or Arapuni-Waotu after a lonii *oio run. Hall converted the try. An excltfinish saw CrafT break away for ArapuniWnotu and transfer to Donovan who scored. H.'iU converted, leaving Arapuni-Waotu the Winner by JO points to 3.
