CAPTAIN EYSTON'S FEAT TEN MILES RECORD (Received Septeml-er 8, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK. Sept. 7 A message from Bonneville salt flats, Utah, states that Captain 6. E. T. Eyston, British long-distance driver, broke the 10 miles record in a race against Wizard Smitii (Australia), who drove his queer-looking Stewart Enterprise. Captain Eyston averaged 167.09 miles an hour and Smith 164.08 miles.
