ALL BLACKS TEAM
STRENUOUS TRAINING NOT YET IN TOP FORM (Received September 8, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. Sept. 7 The manager of the All Blacks team, Mr. V. 11. Meredith, is satisfied with the condition of the players, but considers they will need hard work before they reach the top of their form. Critics say no team has trained so strenuously. A heavy programme of hospitality has nob been allowed to interfere with the training at Paignton. Many invitations have been declined. Mr. Meredith has strained the muscles of one leg and limps while on the field coaching the team. The All Blacks' first match is set down for next Saturday against Devon and Cornwall at Dovonport.
