WAIKATO HUNT CLUB
POINT-TO-POINT MEETING Winter conditions prevailed at Tauwhare on Saturday, when the Waikato Hunt Club held its annual point-to-point race meeting. Although the sun appeared at fleeting intervals there was a cold wind. Tailored suits worn with high-necked wool jumpers, and ensembles in tweed, were greatly favoured, while many tailored frocka were worn under warm coats. Tricorn hats and big tams of felt or velvet were popular, while a few Tyrolean hats were also seen. The presentation of trophies was made by the master, Mr. Wynn Brown.
