SHOCK FOR PIANIST
PIANO FALLS FROM DAIS incide;nt at a dance [BY TELEGRAPH—OWIjf CORRESFOS DENTJ XEW PLYMOUTH, Sunday The most startled man at u dance in the Fitzroy Hall on Saturday night was the pianist in the orchestra, when the instrument lie was playing disappeared over the edge of the dais and crashed to the floor among the dancers. Fortunately the heavy instrument fell into a vacant space among the large crowd. The piano v as standing near the edce of the orchestral dais, and apparently the vibrations set up by the dancers and the music caused it to work gradually tc the edge of the polished platform.
