JHE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE heavy turnover in loans / A heavy turnover in Government [onus marked operations on the Auckland Stock Exchange at the single call on Saturday. Five parcels changed bands, all at current values. Banks met with a slow demand and piosfc offers were lower. The only business was in' Reserves. Gd de trer at I!G 10s 6d. South British Insurance moved up on the lovels and there was a transfer 3d higher. New Zealands were available 3d cheaper at 60s Gd, but buyers remained silent. In the industrials Dominion Breweries advanced in dealing to 16s, d rise of sd. Mortgage Corporations were done Id higher at 6s 4d. There xvas a fall in Renown Coals, while the preference'issue sold unchanged. Claude Neon issues were taken at the current rates, and Farmers' Trading 15 preference anil G. J. Coles also were unchanged in trading.
