THAMES POWER BOARD AUTHORITY TO BE SOUGHT' [by tiilegraph—own correspondent] TE AROHA, "Wednesday At the monthly meeting of the Thameu Valley Power Board yesterday it was. decided to seek the authority ol the Local Government Loans Board to raise a loan of £150.,000. In dealing with the question of future reticulation, Mr. F. J. Mayn asked if ib were not possible to devote the anticipated savings accruing through the recent conversion of the London loan toward the reticulation of thoiie areas which desired a power service, but which had been unable to guarantee the full amount as required by the board. The chairman, Mr. J. M. Price, stated that careful consideration had been given to this question and members could rest assured that when tie money became available it would be used for the purpose mentioned.
