PRIMARY SCHOOLS TOURNEY WIN FOR MARINE SUBURBS The annual Soccer tournament for North Island orimary schools was con- ■ eluded yesterday under ideal weather | conditions. Marine Sulmrhs annexed the shield for the 1935 steation. All i the games- provided fast football, and a , large attendance of spectators enjoyed the play. Takle, of Hamilton, eulogised the arrangements for the tournament and its conduct. The gathering xas, entertained with motion pictures and muiical and elocutionary items by Messrs. Pa ton and R. M. Beswick. AUCKLAND CONTROL BOARD MATCH AGAINST THE NAVY It was reported at. last nifirht'u meeting of the Control Board of the Auckland Football Association that no definite date had keen set aside for the match against the Navy, and the matter of arranging the game was left in the handu of Messrs P. Neesham and S. R. Masiium. i Mr. J, C Sibbin. manager of the Flyger Hose Bowl team, reported on the recent tour and the interest that hud bean created in the various centres visited.
