CONTRACT BRIDGE
The contract bridge tournament conducted by the Northern Contract Bridge Glib in the club rooms on Tuesday night proved very successful. Twenty-two pairs entered, and the result was in doubt until the end. Following are- the best accumulated scores: —V. Cavendish and It. K. Wvlie, 3160; C. L. Eastgate and C. Bruce-Smith, 2980; Dr. P. Moire and V. J. Parkinson, 2570; Dr. Bruce Mackenzie and Dr. J. H. Wood, 2520; Mrs. F. Noakes and Mrs. HamlynWhite, 1590; Mrs. F. Atkinson and Mrs. Chilwill, 1440.
