BIG EXPANSION SCHEME DEMAND for power supplies (Received September 3, 6.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, foept. 2 In order to meet 'the increasing demand for power supplies, the Central Electricity Board has sigreed to extensions and the installation of a new generating plant at Liverpool, Isorwich and Portsmouth. These together are estimated to cost nearly £l,<>oo,ooo.
