DISCUSSION AT TAURANGA INVITATION TO ENTOMOLOGIST [dy telegraph—own correspondent] TAURANGA, Tuesday At a meeting attended by members of tho executive of the Chamber of Commerce and representatives of the Tauranga branch of the Farmers' Union and the Agricultural and Pastoral Association methods of combating the white butterfly pest were discussed, including the liberation of parasites, and prizes to school children for catching butterflies. It was decided that as Mr. J. Muggoridgo, the Government entomologist, of tho Plant Ueseareh Station at Palmerston North* would be visiting the Fast Coast, he should be asked to visit Tauranga with the view to discussing tho position.
