REMOVAL OF A PORTION APPLICATION APPROVED [by telegraph—OWN correspondent! OPOTIKI, Tuesday An application for permission to remove a portion of the l'awhiti Hotel. Waipiro Bay, to To i'uhia was granted at a meeting of the Bay of Plenty Licensing Committee. The building at Waipiro, it was stated, is now too big for the business ottering. The portion to bo removed is to be attached to the Te Piihia Hotel. Mr Al. Hyland, of Port Awanni, applied foi the removal of his licence to Tikitiki, but, as the building was not yet finished the application was adjourned until October 1.
