SWALLOWED A PIN

LODGED IN GIRL'S THROAT REMOVAL IN HOSPITAL • To have a pin lodged in her throat was the painful experience of Miss C. McLeod, of -71 Wellington Street, City, yesterday afternoon. She was working in a factory and was holding several pins in her mouth when she swallowed one. St. John Ambulance officers were summoned and Miss McLeod was taken to the Auckland Hospital. The pin was removed and she was then able to go home.
