PREPARING CASTS FOR EXHIBITION AT THE WAR MEMORIAL MUSEUM An interesting part of the routine work at the museum is the making of fibrous plaster casts of fish, animals and other creatures for exhibition. In this picture the taxidermist is mixing liquid plaster with fibre in making a cast of a dolphin recently presented. In the foreground is the completed cast of the large Pacific tuna, the first caught in New Zealand waters, which was sent in by Mr. S. Ellis, of Hamilton.
