HAMILTON NEWS

CHILDREN'S DANCE HELD A bright and decorative setting was presented in the Alexandra Hall, Hamilton, on the occasion of the annual fancy dress dance of the children of Fairfield School. There was a large attendance of parents and friends, and the function was»a most successful and happv one. To the headmaster, Mr. R. E. Andrew, and his staff, credit was due for the excellent organisation and the interesting programme performed by the children. Much of the success of the evening was also due to the work of the ladies' committee, comprising Mrs. Paterson, Mrs. Chapman, Mrs. Norman, Mrs. Knight, Airs. Bishop. Mrs. Granev. Mrs. Rir.toul and Mrs. McKinnon. the accompanists were Miss A. E. Atkinson and Miss McMahon. Mrs. 0. R. Fairer, of Hamilton, will leave this week on a brief visit to Auckland. Miss E. M. White, of Hamilton, has left for New Plymouth. Miss M. Campbell, of Hamilton, is visiting New Plymouth.
