Tlio development of the tung oil industry in New Zealand and its possible relation to future immigration policy wero discussed by Mr. J. E. Wray in a lecture delivered to the Central Committee of the Patriotic Societies of Auckland anrl members of the Institute of Horticulture in the Overseas Club rooms last night. With the aid of some excellent cinema films, Mr. Wray traced the growth of the industry in the Kaikohe district since its inception just over four years ago. Ho urged that immigrants be brought to the Dominion from Great Britain to assist in the I production of tung oil in North Aucki land.
