CREDIT BY FRAUD Charged with obtaining credit to the amount of £26 2s 3d from a city firm on July 26 by means of fraud, and also with obtaining credit to tho amount of £lB 4s Id from tho same firm by similar means on July 27, Florence Myra Conway appeared for sentence before Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday. Accused, who was represented by Mr. Aekins, was sentenced to reformative detention for a year. " You seem to be a confirmed thief, and the public must be protected from your depredations," said tho magistrate, when Florence Kate Turner, aged 51, appeared for sentence on a chargo of stealing a pair of stockings, valued at 2s lid, from a city firm. A sentence of one month's imprisonment was imposed.
