SENSATIONAL CHARGES ALLEGED INHUMANrTY LONDON, Aug. 23 The Manchester Guardian's Warsaw correspondent says numbers of Jewish refugees ha'vo arrived at Danzig. They are victims of an unprecedented Nazi campaign to turn out the Jews from East Prussia. Bakers in Tilsit have been warned not to sell bread to Jews. Proprietors of flour mills, vegetable, fruit and grocery shops also have been forbidden to servo them. Two bakers \vho protested against this inhuman injunction were arrested. Jows are obliged to go to surrounding villages to save themselves from starvation. PALESTINE POSITION MIGRANTS RESTRICTED HEBREW CONGRESS PROTESTS Times Cable LONDON, Aue. 83 The Lucerne correspondent of tho Times says tho Jewish Congress is agreed as to tho necessity for intensified efforts in Palostino in view of tho catastrophic position of Jewry. Speakers criticised tho restrictions on Jewish immigration in Palestine and condemned the proposed introduction of a Legislative Council.
