As a fitting conclusion to a successful season the Marohemo .football and basketball clubs held a fancy dress ball at Marohema last week. After the grand inarch, the judges, Mesdames J. Caldwell, J. Sterling and A. Fro win, announced the following prizewinners:Host costumes: "Victorian lady," Miss M. Jnckman; "Indian," Mr. W. Smith. Best pair: "Mum and Dad," Mr. H. Smith and Miss C. Fergus. Most humorous costume: "Absent-minded professor," Mr H. E. Kemp. Most outstanding costume: "Motor tyres," Mr. D. Fergus. Most original costumes: "White butterfly," Miss H. MoKenzio; 'big bad wolf," Mr. W. Weir.
