OBITUARY
MRS. H. W. WILLIAMS Cabled advice has been received in Auckland of the death of Mrs. 11. W. Williams, of Heswall, Cheshire, England, who will be remembered by a large number of returned soldiers in the Dominion. In company with her husband, who was a noted sportsman and president of tho Liverpool Corn Exchange, Mrs. Williams had practically 150 convalescent sick and mounded sisters and soldiers from Now Zealand at her home during the whole of the war period. A returned soldier who spent some weeks at Mrs. Williams' home said yesterday that by means of a diary Mrs. Williams had kept in touch with most of the men until recent years. Mr. Williams, who also showed every kindness to the patients, died some years ago.
