PRESENTATIONS
An illuminated address was presented to Mr. T. N. Smallwood at the Holy Trinity Church, Devonport, on Saturday evening. The vicar, the Rev. H. V. Salmon, congratulated Mr. Smallwood upon his appointment as a managing director of the Mortgage Corporation and expressed appreciation on behalf of tho parish for the excellent services, given to the church by Mr. and Mrs. Smallwood. The vicar said Mrs. Smallwood had been instrumental in reorganising the parish branch of ths Mothers' Union, as well as helping in numerous other ways. Archdeacon Snn» kin, representing the diocese, presented the address on behalf of the vestry and congregation.
