DEFERRED PAYMENTS DISTRIBUTION OF £629,391 NEW ZEALAND COMPANY PAST SEASON'S SETTLEMENT [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Wednesday Deferred payments aggregating £629,391 will be paid to suppliers of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, on August 31. In making the announcement at the annual meeting of the company to-dav the general-manager, .Mr. C. J. p ar ' j lane, said including the cost of cart, age, the payment to suppliers for finest quality butter-fat would be 10.1675J per lb., while the average payment over all butter-fat received for buttermaking would be 10.0644 d, the par. ment to direct delivery suppliers being 10.2812 d per lb. butter-fat. The aver, age deferred payment*to be made to supplierr would he 1.8078 d per lb. Continuing, Mr. Parlane said the par. ment to the company's cheese groupi varied according to circumstances and conditions, the average over all f ac . Tories, excluding East Tamaki, being 10.346 - The payment to East Tamaki suppliers, including town milk sales, was 13.414 d. In addition to butter prices, casein suppliers had feteived an advance pay. ment of l.oOd, and there was a further payment to be made of 1.0588 d per lb butter-fat on August 31. Deferred payments totalling £413,?17 were paid to suppliers for the 1933-34 season. The payment for finest quality butter-fat delivered direct to factories was 9.50 d per lb., and.for finest quality butter-fat delivered through the com. pany's cartage services, 9.38 d per lb. The payment to cheese suppliers ranged from 9.67 d age over the company's 18 cheese fao. Tories being 10.41 d per lb.
