WELLINGTON'S WELCOME TOWN HALL RECEPTION [By TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION] ■WELLINGTON, Wednesday A civic welcome home to the Prime Minister, Mr. Forbes, and the Minister of Finance, Mr. Coates, was extended by the City of Wellington in the Town Hall to-night. The Mayor, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, on behalf of the citizens, extended good wishes to the Ministers. Mr. Forbes and Mr. Coates. in replying, surveyed the outcome of their mission, Mr. Forbes discussing chiefly the King's Silver Jubilee celebrations. and Mr. Coates the meat negotiations. A small noisy faction "welcomed" Mr. Forbes and Mr. Coates in its own way when they addressed an audience that in the main was friendly. The Communist element was present in force, and a number of interjectors were removed by the police. Mr. Coates prevented further ejections b3* an appeal to the police.
