PAKURANGA HUNT
SUCCESSFUL MEET AT DRURY A successful moot of the Pakuranga Hunt was hold nt Drury on Tuesday. The hounds sot off toward the hills and succeeded in putting up a hare in the first paddock. Crossing Mr. Hamilton's property, tho haro made for the property of Mr. Fielding, working then on to Mr. Heard's land and into the paddocks owned by Mr. Ballard. Two more hares were put up and the hounds soon settled on to tho track of one. It worked toward Mr. Flanagan's property and took tho hounds on a very long run. The going was very heavy and several horses fell, but no one was hurt. The hunt was regarded as a very successful one, in spite of the heaviness of the ground. After the meet, afternoon tea was provided by the ladies of the district in the Drury Hall.
