BARROW PUSHER
MELBOURNE TO SYDNEY GOOD PROGRESS MADE (Received August 20. 7.35 p.m.) SYDNEY. Auk. 20 Mr. William Darwin, of Brighton, near Melbourne, is making good progress with his harrow pushing to Sydney, which he has undertaken to accomplish in 10 weeks for a wager of £IOO. He is now well ahead of his schedule. Mr. Darwin hopes to reach Cootamundra with his " passenger," Mr. W. Amiguet at the end of this week. That is 265 miles from Sydney, or exactly half the journey.
