PREVENTION OF CRUELTY
LARGE BRIDGE PARTY The reception rooms of Milne and Choyce, Limited, were taxed to the utmost yesterday afternoon, when the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals held its final bridge party of the season. Over 70 tables were engaged by enthusiastic players. Mrs. B. J. Marquet, convener, was assisted by Mesdames P. Aclcland, St. Clair Chaney, A. Farmer, C. Francis and Collinson. The following ladies were the prizewinners:—Mali jongg, Miss Cable; contract, Mrs. Moir; auction, Mrs. Tite and Mrs. Guthrie. A special prize was competed for by the ladies who had been hostesses at the four bridge afternoons given by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to this winter. This was won by Mrs. E. D.
