CARD EVENING HELD The social hall at the Grange Clubhouse was gaily decorated with flowers and foliage on Monday, when the social committee of the Otahuhu Golf Club held a bridge and social evening. Tnere was a largo attendance of members and friends, and 24 tables were engaged for bridge play. Tho hostesses were Mrs. A. Quin and Miss Muir, who were assisted by the following members of the committee: —Mrs. A. K. Belcher, Mrs. H. L. Possenniskie, and tho Misses Wills, Hunter, L Thompson and K. Bryant. Tho winners at bridge were:— Highest scores, Mrs. Possenniskie and Mr. H. M. Speakman; hidden number, Mrs. C. B. Gilberd; novelty award. Mrs. Butler, jun.
