BUCKLAND'S BEACH
THE PLANTING OF TREES Various improvements recently carried out at Buckland's Beach were reported on by the county engineer, Mr. .J. 11. Page, at yesterday's meeting of the Manukau County Council. A number of pohutukawa trees had been planted along the waterfront at the beach, stated the engineer. This work had been carried out partly with relief labour and co-operation also had been received from the members of the Buckland's Beach Progressive League. The engineer reported that some erosion was occurring on t,h<s waterfront road at the beach.
