WITHDRAWAL BY, MINISTRY "INDUSTRY TOO BUSY" LONDON. Autr. t8 Tho aeronautical correspondent of tho Daily Telegraph states that tho Air Ministry has withdrawn its offer of a prize of £2/5,000 for tho best design for a high-speed, medium-sized air liner after consultation with the heads of the nircraft industry, who point out that they are too busy as a result of the Iloyal Air Force expansion orders.
