THAMES UNION JUNIOR MATCH PROGRAMME [BY TEI/EGIUrH OWN CORRESPONDENT] THAMES, Thursday The weekly meeting of the management committee of tho Thames Rugby Union received from the Mayor an invitation to send representatives to a meeting tcr discuss the proposal to assist in rebuilding the Turua Public Hall, but it wnc decided to take no action, pending the receipt of further details of the proposal. > The Hauraki Plains Union advised that it would send senior A and B, junior and third grade teams to Thames on August 17, and asked for eonie assistance in tho matter of transport. It was decided to mako a grant of 33 1-3 per cent of the net gate to tho Plaiuß Union. The matches were set down as follows:—Johnston Cup match, juniors, No. 1 ground, at 1.30 p.m.; third grade.
