Aug. 3 The Ethiopian Government has received a, cablegram offering the assistance of two divisions of American negroes, properly equipped. COAL REQUIREMENTS ITALY'S DIFFICULTIES LONG CREDIT WANTED LONDON, Aur. 2 The City editor of the Times Bays Italians are offering 3s to 6s a ton above the ordinary quotations for British coal, but desire 90 days' credit. Exporters who have encountered diflir culty in obtaining payment for coal previously supplied regard tho terms as unattractive. Italians also arc encountering difficulties in obtaining supplies of fuel for bunkering stations, and this has resulted in tho withdrawal of tramp steamers from world trading.
