ANNUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS LYNNDALE CLUB'S EVENTS The cross-country club championship of the Lynndale Harrier Club was decided on Saturday over a course of 6| miles. UNIVERSITY CLUB The University Harrier Club held its club championship on Saturday over a course of 10.000 metres, starting from the Avondale racecourse. WESLEY CLUB The Wesley Harrier Club held a run of approximately Gj miles, starting from the Mount Roskill School, on Saturday, covering the Waikowbai and Mount Roskill districts. The fourth of the series of handicap runs-in resulted as follows: Fast Pack.—P. Stewart, 1; M. Hewiteon, 2: W. F. Chappell, 3. Intermediate Pack.—A. Rowe, 1: A. King, 2; B. Verry, 3. Slow Pack.—-J. Carter, 1; A. Colling*, 2: D. Bennett, 3. Junior Pack.—R. J. Barnett, 1. BAPTIST CLUB A run of about five miles was held by the Baptist Harrier Club on Saturday. W. Reeveley was promineni in the slew pack and S. Edgar and A. Carbines in the fast one. A 100 yds sprint at the finish resulted as follows:—D. Ellingham, Gyds, 1; W. Fountain, syds. 2: D. D.
