THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE BANK LEVELS FIRMER Levels were firm generally at the eingle call on tho* Auckland Stock Exchange oil Saturday. There was a steady demand for Government loans and a parcel of 1910 4 per cent stock was released unchanged at £lO2 2s (3d. Banks, after showing a slight reaction on Friday, were again stronger, and holders opera tod sparingly. The only sale was in Now Zealands. which were weaker at sls 10d, but offers hardened to the same figure. There was only a restricted demand for insurances. Conditions were irregular, with a slightly firmer tendency, in the other section's. National Timbers showed further improvement in dealing at 15s 3d, but subsequently limits wore easier. Another adaneo occurred in Broken Hill Proprietaries, which were placed at 60s 3d, while Wilsons Cements rose to sell at 3Ss lOd and 395. f CLOSING QUOTATIONS
