FOOTBALL JUBILEE BALL
NORTHCOTE RAMBLERS CLUB The 25th anniversary of the Northrote and Birkenhead Ramblers League Football Club was celebrated by a jubilee ball in the King's Theatre, Northcote, on Thursday evening. The organisers were assisted bv a ladies' committee comprising Mrs. C. Moore, who wore a frock of maroon georgette; Mrs. P. V. May, in black marocain; Mrs. G. H. Pike, black crepe de chine; Mrs. H. Moore, blue marocain; Mrs. J. G. Bartulovich, figured marocain. The floor arrangements were in charge of Mr. C. J. W. Taylor. Exhibition dances by Miss Margaret O'Connor and Mr. E. Priestley included the tango and rumba. Among those present were:—Mrs. D. Wilkie, Mrs. R. C. Stirling, Mrs. 11. .1011, Mrs. 11. Banburv, Mrs. H. Shaw, Mrs. C. Headland, Mrs. J. Dickson, Miss E. Neben, Miss S. Hartigan, Miss S. Mentzer, Miss J. Bregman, Miss I?. Casey, Miss J. Logie, Miss .T. Meyers, Miss 1. Holman, Miss/J. Chiplin, Miss Q. Sutcliffe, Miss C. Smith, Miss V. Hart and Miss J. Ussher.
