JHE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE AN EASIER INQUIRY Inquiry for investment issues was a shade easier at the single call on the Auckland Stock Exchange on Saturday. There was a satisfactory turnover. Support for State loans was unchanged, except for a fall in offers for the 1940 4 per cent bonds. No sales took place. Levels for most banks were lower. The only issue to change hands was New Zealand.*, which were done unchanged at 51s 6d. Insurances were inactive. Among the industrials. Colonial Sugars v*ere weaker, a parcel ehnnping; hands 5s lower at £4l Lis. PunlopPerdriaus' were released 2d lower at 15s lid, and Farmers' Fertiliser Id lower at 20s 6d. Claude Neons (N.Z.), had sale twice at the current rate, 425. while Farmers' Trading and Union Oil also were accepted at unchanged prices.
