REDUCTIONS ALLOWED [bt telegraph—owx correspondent] ROTORUA, Friday General reductions of 10 per cent over most of the town area excepting parts of Tutanekai Street, where reductions in the main amounted to 5 per cent, were allowed bj the Assessment Court when it completed its consideration of objections to revaluations t in the Rotorua borough this afternoon. Ten per cent reductions were also granted objecting property-owners in the suburban areas, while a general all-round reduction of one-third on the unimproved value of native-owned property at Tarewa and Whakarewarewa, and a similar percentage reduction of five-twelfths on native property at Ohinemutu, were allowed by the Court.
