Jewelled Girdle was going comfortably while running six furlongs in 1.25 1-6. Cai;oma and Valmint were responsible for a similar effort.

Supreme ltuler (Pascoe) and Chief Emerald (Simpson) were schooled over the pony hurdles and acquitted themselves rery satisfactorily. Hawthorn (Tucker) went in good style for a beginner when schooled over three pony hurdles. Park hurst (Craddock) and Catoma (Ferguu) were tried over the steeplechase fences on the flat.
