[ET TELKGEAPH PEESS ASSOCIATION] DTNEDIN, Sunday
Earl McCready. of Canada, 17st. and Glenn Wade, of America, lost lllb. starred a wrestling bout in the Town. Hall last night before a crowd estimated to exceed 3000. Tbe match went the full eight rounds and the decision was awarded to McCready on points. McCready proved not only the stronger, bat the cleverer wrestler. "Wade's defensive vrork was remarkable. He -was heavily punished in the final round, and it was only by hanging grimly to the ropes that he prevented a fall bring reris-•-'.red against him. It really appeared as if McCready cottld have obtained a fall early if he had so desired_ The boat was quite devoid of showmanship.
