SURVEYORS' INSTITUTE
ELECTION OF OFFICERS There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors, when suggestions relative to the hydrographic survey of the Now Zealand coast and simplifying the procedure for completing land transactions were considered for submission at the annual conference of the institute in Wellington next month. The following officers were elected: — Chairman, Mr. I?. G. Dick; deputychairman, Mr J McKinley; honorary secretary, Mr. A. D. Bines; committee. Messrs. C. K. Grierson, Preston Chambers, P. Harrison, K. Haszard, A. Goss, J. K Ledger, T. Ropiha, W. Traill, J. E. Thomson, G. T. Murray, E. V. Blake, D. Jenkins, H. J. Edmonds, T. T. Andrews and M. C. Williams.
