STOWAWAY ARRESTED
MAN FROM AUSTRALIA A young man, an Australian, concealed himself on board the Union Company's cargo steamer Kairanga at New castle, and he was arrested when th« vessel reached Auckland last evening. The man hid among some coils of fencing wire, after it was stowed at Newcastle in the shelter deck. The Kairanga proceeded from Newcastle to Sydney to complete loading for Auckland and Wellington, and the man remained concealed until the vessel had left Sydney.
