"LOST HORIZON"

FRANK CAPRA PRODUCTION " Lost Horizon," winner of the Hawthornden prize, and acclaimed by critics as the outstanding novel of the year, will be the next Frank Capra production. In a race between producers for the privilege of presenting James Hilton's novel, Columbia was the winner. Columbia is not only giving the production the benefit of Capra's genius, but has also assigned, as scenario-writer, Robert Riskin, author of " Lady for a Day," "Broadway Bill." and " It Happened One Night." For the last-named, he recently received the 1934 award of the Academy of Motion Picturo Arts aud Sciences. The Hilton novel wil bring to the screen strange adventures in far-flung places under a director-writer team that has won a unique position.
