NOVEL DIVORCE PLEA
Charles Moore and his wife have no children, but in his petition for divorce, which has been filed at Kansas City, the husband asks for custody of certain items which he evidently estimates as just as important. He demands: — The custody of the family dog, and permanent possession of the family sewing-machine. The dog, he claims, was his property before he married his wife ten years ago, while the sewingmachine ''has long been an heirloom in my family."
