ARBOR DAY
HAMILTON ARRANGEMENTS [from our own correspondent] Hamilton;, friday Efforts are being made by the Hamilton Beautifying Society to revive interest in tree-planting and to arrange for the proper observance of Arbor Day, which falls; on August 7. The society has enlisted the cooperation of' the women's institutes, dairy companies and school committees. Teachers are being asked to deliver lectures on the value of trees to school children, and the children are to be encouraged to plant at least three trees. If room is not available in the school grounds, arrangements will be made to plant the trees in a park or other public place.
