ATLANTIC FLIGHTS
AMERICAN ENTERPRISE PREPARATIONS FOR SERVICE LONDON, July 12 The Australian Director of Aviation, Captain Johnston, says the Americans are confident they will establish a transatlantic service before Imperial Airways. Americans are secretive concerning the machines to be used, but claim they will be suitable ones. They will operate via Bermuda and the Azores, also on the northerly route, without awaiting the construction of flying-boats in England, for which the Sigorskv and Bellanca firms are forming British companies with works situated at Belfast and Liverpool.
