VICTORY FOR McGRATH STEDMAN BEATS MALIFROY (Received July 14, 6.35 p.m.) LONDON, July 13 In the semi-finals of the singles in the Midland tennis championships, McGrath (Australia), beat de Morpurgo (Italy), 6—2, 6—B. In the final, McGrath defeated Musgrove (South Africa), B—6, 6—2. In the doubles, Borotra and Gentien defeated McGrath and Olliff, 5—7, 6—2, I—6, 6—3, 6—3. In the final of the singles in the Irish championships, Stedman (New Zealand), beat Malfroy (New Zealand), the holder, 7—5, 6 —3, 6 —l.
