July, 12 A message from Bonneyville, Salt Flats, Utah, states that John Cobb, a British motor-car racer, covered 152.11 miles in an hour thero yesterday. Ho claims a world record. Also ho claims world records of 154.46 miles an hour for 50 kilometres, 153.13 miles an hour for 100 kilometres, 153.24 miles an hour for 200 kilometres and 150.60 and 152.95 miles an hour for 50 and 100 miles respectively..
