Moult, of Miramar, fell asleep on a iettee before a fire. By some means the" settee became alight. Mr. Moult did not awake, but luckly a son came in N and aroused him, though with great difficulty. The fire extinguisher obtained from the family car failed to put the settee out, and a garden hose' was used by Mr. Moult, who kept the fire in check while his ( son called up the brigade, which soon arrived. Mr. Moult considers he was fortunate to escape with his life. In 1913 he was concerned in an explosion at hiii home when soldering a benzine tank and was badly burned. ■
